
Krista Tippett is a Peabody Award–winning broadcaster, National Humanities Medalist, and bestselling author. Raised in Oklahoma, she studied at Brown University before working as a journalist and diplomat in Cold War Berlin. In the 1990s, she earned a master’s degree in theology from Yale Divinity School, recognizing a gap in thoughtful public conversation on faith, spirituality, and moral life. In 2003, she launched Speaking of Faith, later renamed On Being, which grew into a national program and the foundation for The On Being Project. Krista has published several acclaimed books and continues to explore the art of living and moral imagination.
