Boston Partners for Peace Proudly Brings the Parents Circle to Boston
The Parents Circle – Families Forum will be visiting Boston, MA this September and October! Please join our bereaved members and Co-Directors of the Parents Circle, Rami Elhanan and Mazen Faraj at the following public events:
Mazen Faraj is the Palestinian Co-Director of the Parents Circle and lives in Dheisheh Refugee Camp in the West Bank. In 2002, his father, aged 62, was killed by an Israeli soldier. He chose the way of reconciliation and believes it will lead to justice and peace.
Rami Elhanan is the Israeli Co-Director of the Parents Circle and lives in Jerusalem. In 1997, his daughter Smadar, aged 14, was killed by a Palestinian suicide bombing. Rather than choosing the path of revenge, he chose to seek peace and to see that the pain of bereavement is same on both sides of the conflict.
