Israel’s Channel 13 News reported that programs at risk of cancellation in schools include Parents Circle’s long-standing Dialogue Meeting program and the Joint Memorial Day Ceremony.

These are some of the first unofficial signs that the new, right-wing government in Israel is trying to silence and prevent us from our peace education work.

We will not be silenced! We need to preserve our education efforts. This program is often the only exposure that students have to Palestinians and the human side of the conflict.

Parents Circle’s programs have been specifically named and targeted by the new Israeli government.

We are taking the following steps in response:

1. 1. Media Campaign: Our promotional Dialogue Meeting video [watch below] is running on a social media campaign in Israel to get the word out to the Israeli public about our program.
   2. PR + Advertising: We are working with PR and advertising partners to boost the campaign and access more Israelis with our messages.
   3. Legal Action:  While this is not yet a legal battle, we are laying the groundwork for a likely legal course of action.
