We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our Back to School Solidarity campaign! Thanks to your generosity, we reached our $20,000 goal, providing essential school supplies to over 1,200 Palestinian children from the families of bereaved peacemakers and activists.
These children can now start the school year with the tools they need to succeed, despite the ongoing challenges they face.
Thanks to the support of our generous donors, the Parents Circle distributed school bags and stationery to children across more than 50 schools in the West Bank and Jerusalem. The campaign was further supported by local Palestinian businesses and officially recognized by the Palestinian Ministry of Education, which has allowed us to extend our reach and offer continuous educational support during this difficult time.
Who Did We Help?
Since October, there has been a near full closure in the West Bank and those with Israeli work permits have lost their jobs. Parents Circle members, who have already endured profound loss and work tirelessly towards reconciliation, continue to face significant financial challenges. Many are struggling to cover daily expenses, let alone afford the costs associated with their children’s education.
Through this initiative, the Parents Circle provided tangible support to over 300 children of bereaved peacemakers and activists, reminding them that their well-being matters deeply to us and that they are not alone in their journey.
